App size: 260.92 Kb
The Triant security app is a personal security camera that uploads video to a secure server as the phone views it. Both video and sound are streamed from the iPhone directly to the server.
Originally designed as a deterrent to crime the Triant app is the "eye in the sky" watching over the user in real time.
Videos are uploaded to the host server instantly. Even if the phone is destroyed through some act of violence the recording is save on the secure server.
Applications would include crimes in progress not only against he user but any where video can be used. Consider a child with his phone is being robbed for his phone. He starts the Triant app immediately and starts recording what is happening. Instantly an email is sent to the server security/parent or other emergency email. The recipient of that email logs in to the server to view the robbery in progress. The video has a geo tag link and can pinpoint where the robbery is happening and the suspects are being recorded. Once the phone has been taken and the crime has happened under normal circumstances the phone would be Reset and all video lost but in this particular case the video is safe and an investigation is launched or police /security are dispatched.
If a child is witnessing bullying they can upload to the secure server for the administrators to deal with appropriately. If the child witnesses any crime that they want to report anonymously such as abuse either at school or at home they have the ability to video it with out it being destroyed.
If an adult is robbed and killed and all personal effects are destroyed there will be a video of what happened on the server.
Any crime that traditionally would go unnoticed due to destroying the recording device would be recorded. Imagine with enough awareness that on a Saturday night in a bad area of town. A knife is pulled by one man"gimme your $" the other man says "no problem, but your are being recorded by TRIANT and the robber runs away. A $5 app could save a life.
Imagine a young woman walk in around the corner to her house and she is witnessing a beating. She yells "TRIANT is watching!"as she rushes at the muggers Flashlight from her phone in their eyes the muggers scatter.
You are in a bar and the bouncers decide that you must be removed yet you have done nothing wrong you start Triant and start to record the action they beat you senseless and destroy your phone but you have evidence.
You are pulled over by an over zealous police officer and are concerned that he is not being fair with you so you start TRIANT.
The first thing a criminal wants to do is clean up his tracks. The recording device is the first to go.
A bank robbery is recorded by Triant app. Or a school shooting the app is started and the phone left recording as the child hides. A wifi enabled plane is being high jacked the app is sending information back to the server.
App can be sold to individuals as a private security camera that alerts a loved one that a video is uploaded. Or an organization can have a secure server that monitors the videos and reacts accordingly.
Whistle blowers can use it to upload and send out information from behind country walls like Ukraine or China. Communitys that are under siege can send images of the carnage.
